Tiger Woods Stigma

The video below is an African American Woman who wants to break the stigma that there is an black woman marriage crisis, because their isn't.  When we talk about black women not being able to find black men to marry, the fact is that some feel that they are not the first choice on the list, but it doesn't mean we are not on the list.  There are a few black men that don't choose black women at ALL that get discussed foregoing all the beautiful black men who see black women equally and as queens for marriage choices .
 

So, why do we care about the brothers who don't choose their own race?  Because it brings up issues that never been resolved, and is seeped deeply into the fabric of America.  That black women are not seen as beautiful unless they take on 'white' features.
 

Wanda Sykes came out about being lesbian and is happily married to her female partner.  It makes one skit she did on her show even more biting.  she gives checks worth millions to keep Tiger's mistresses mouth closed.  Then they come upon one house and . . . she's a pretty black woman.  Wanda says that they come upon the wrong house and run away.  I don't believe any other comedian other than a person of color could make this commentary.  It's funny to the black community because it is so true for one and second it brings up an issue in the black community which has hurt at the very core of it. 

If any other race like Jay Leno did this, they could probably get away with it, but it would be talked about the next day on a few social medias.  Of course, there are jokes only black people can tell which makes a lot of people upset.  They don't understand.  Many blacks look at a racist joke only being allowed by blacks as a way to 'get pay' for what was used against their ancestors without any defense.  Many if not the majority of blacks, thank Richard Pryor for branding the N word as cool because it took away from other races who used it to kill blacks with words, and blacks finally 'own' the N word.  Even if this is true, I believe even Richard Pryor said once, it is time to stop using that word completely.

To me personally, Tiger Woods was never my type, or a lot of other black women's type.  It just brings up an issue between black men and black women that is hard to talk about for black women.  This one magazine, either Jet or Ebony had an article that hit a sore spot for many black women.  The articles stated said that Tiger Woods had 'made it' just for the simple fact he married a white woman.  It hit a spot, because this is what blacks and whites believe in society.  It is all over our televisions and in our everyday life.  EVERY RACE is trying to 'look white', even to the extent of Asians having eye surgery to open up their beautiful eyelids to appear European.

Note:  I do not believe blond hair, wide eyes, straight hair, blue eyes is 'looking white'.  There is a tribe of blacks who have not mixed who have blond hair and blue eyes.  It is not a European Phenom despite Hitler;s characterizations of such genes.  So, I don't include that here, but I mention it because people think that only the white race has these attributes as 'being white'.  But it is not only given to the white race.  Please note I do not attach certain features such as wide eyes, blond hair, blue eyes to Europeans, it is the perception that to have these traits makes one superior, the reality is that all races have these features naturally.

I used to fall for this myself and only saw blond men as attractive.  Now I have a love for all decent respectable men.  Hallelujah!

When are we going to say enough is enough?  God created color due to climate and beauty of his creation, not to make ourselves hate ourselves.
